St. James to Host Contemporary Solo Pianist in Sewickley
The "Touring the Ivories 2013 "concert is Sunday, Aug. 11
St. James Catholic Parish will host a music concert featuring contemporary solo pianist and composer Michele McLaughlin with guest artist Scott Davis.
The "Touring the Ivories 2013 "concert begins at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11 at the church, 200 Walnut St. in Sewickley.
The event is sponsored by the parish's music ministry program.
McLaughlin's music can be heard on several online radio stations and has been described as musical storytelling, relaxing and beautiful.
She performs regularly and has released 14 albums, many of which received multiple nominations and awards.
A $15 donation is suggested for the concert.
