Come Get Your Produce!
The Sewickley Food Pantry Garden distributes fresh produce every week at their Free Farmers Market.
Every Wednesday during the summer season, the Sewickley Food Pantry Garden holds a Free Farmers Market where the produce the garden grows is distributed without charge. Local families can come and recieve fresh fruits and vegetables with no proof of income, anyone who comes is given fresh produce.
This week, generous local gardeners donated pears and peppers and Mediterra Bakehouse donated loaves of fresh bread. Families could pick up fresh garlic, green onions, varieties of tomatoes, pears, cucumbers, bread, fresh herbs, zucchini, edible flowers, and an assortment of hot peppers.
