Sewickley Food Pantry Garden, addressing the issue of hunger in the greater Pittsburgh area.

Community garden growing fresh, organic produce to give to families in need.

The Sewickley Food Pantry Garden is a community garden located at The Sewickley Community Center. The garden grows produce to distribute to families suffering from food insecurity. A core group of twelve deticated volunteers plant and maintain the garden, as well as distribute the harvest at a weekly Free Farmers Market. Every Wednesday, while the garden is producing, families can come from 11:30AM -1:00PM to the community center and recieve produce at no cost.

With 12.5% of Pennsylvanian households food insecure (the highest that it has been in nearly two decade), it is more important than ever to support your local food pantry. Please donate food, money, or your time.
