What's Christmas without toys? Whatever you do, don't waste gas driving out to the large box stores just to fight the holiday crowds. There are plenty of great finds in town when it comes to toys.

Local toy stores Party Ants and Fun Buy the Pound have a large selection of quality, educational and unique toys waiting for you to choose from.

Party Ants

At Party Ants, sisters Robin and Ding Hays will help you find the right gift for the child on your list.

Located at 424 Broad St., the toy and party store carries games, puzzles, figurines party supplies and more. Both children and adults will enjoy the personalized service while shopping in this friendly environment.

Fun Buy the Pound

A short walk away, Fun Buy the Pound at 406 Beaver St. is also stocked up with all your playtime favorites.

Brianna Pflugh, sales employee, said the store is known for popular items like the Melissa & Doug toys and Play Mobile. Holiday specials include an extra 30 percent off Melissa & Doug and 10 percent off Play Mobile toys.
