Big Changes Coming to JC Penney's in Robinson, Ross Park

The stores are undergoing a complete home department renovation.

JC Penney's is revamping the home good section of 500 of its 1,100 stores, including its Mall at Robinson and Ross Park Mall locations.

Designers such as Jonathan Adler and Michael Graves will anchor Penney’s new home goods section, which will have 20 shops by the time the renovations are complete.

The new home section is part of the company's plan to remake Penney's larger stores into collections of boutiques-within-a-store, reported Reuters.com.

"The soft launch at the Ross Park Mall is anticipated for next weekend," said Ann Marie Bishop, Media Relations Senior Manager.

A store employee at the Robinson Mall said the home section is currently under construction and won't be ready for a few weeks.
