Luxury Home Builder Offers Peek Inside Sewickley's Newest Townhouses

Heartland Homes, Inc. is hosting a wine and cheese party Thursday at the Naked Grape in Sewickley along with complimentary shuttles for the public to take home tours.

The public has shown a lot of interest in the  site in Sewickley, where the majority of the townhouses have sold. 

"The first homeowners will be moving in very soon," said Sara Williams, new home specialist for Heartland Homes.

In fact, Williams said the most recent unit went under contract on Tuesday leaving only three luxury townhouses left. She said the public will have a chance to get a sneak peek at one of the townhouses before they are all filled.

A wine and cheese party will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the . Anyone interested in touring the homes or learning more about The Village at Sweetwater is welcome to attend. Interested parties will be given a complimentary shuttle and home tour.

Cecil-based Heartland Homes is the builder for the townhomes and has been working with Beaver Hall Associates and developer Frank J. Zappala for about four years on this project at Beaver and Peebles streets.

Initially, the project plans involved 19 units that would be housed inside three buildings. Two were eliminated to allow for larger custom units and additional green space within the community.

The now involves 17 units that Williams said range from 2,560 square feet to more than 3,000 square feet. Prices start from the mid $300,000s.

The largest and final unit currently available facing Beaver Street includes a first-floor master bedroom and three upstairs bedrooms, in addition to a family room, living room and kitchen. The price tag is $479,261.

Each home has a two-car garage and there are elevator options for end units. A second building faces Peebles Street and a third will be located between the two.
