Pistols and Pink Provides Firearms Education, Networking Opportunities for Women
Pistols and Pink offers women a chance to network while learning about firearms in a safe, relaxed environment.
A Cranberry attorney is encouraging women to get educated about firearms through a group she created that also supports women-owned businesses.
Kathleen Kuznicki is co-founder of Pistols and Pink, a supportive group of women who meet at a local pistol range every month to shoot and network.
Pistols and Pink has been gathering for nearly a year at the Millvale Sportsmen's Club in Wexford, where the special networking events incorporate opportunities for women entrepreneurs to share about their businesses, such as Mary Kay or Tastefully Simple.

Kuznicki, a patent attorney at Lynch Weis LLC in Cranberry, told the Pittsburgh Business Times that she used to attend a lot of networking events as an attorney, but wanted to do an activity that she felt passionate about.
“I figured I’m passionate about shooting, I want to promote women in shooting sports," she told the newspaper. " I figured, 'well why don’t I have a networking event centered around pistol shooting.'”

Kuznicki is an NRA-certified firearm instructor who enjoys target shooting and archery. She believes women should be educated about firearms, particularly if guns are kept in the house.
She told Patch that any lady--experienced or novice--who has an interest in shooting or learning to shoot is welcome to attend Pistol and Pink events.
The group meets on the third Friday of the month at Millvale Sportmens Club, 170 Sunnyhill Road, Wexford.
The next networking event is Friday, May 17 and includes a Party Lite event.
Anyone who plans to attend should notify Kuznicki beforehand so that she can keep an eye out for you ando wait to begin the group instruction.
