Sewickley Entrepreneur Buys Olde Stonewall Golf Course

Joseph Nocito is the new owner of Olde Stonewall, a North Sewickley Township golf course currently ranked in the top 50 public courses in the United States by Golf Digest.

A Sewickley entreprenuer recently became the proud owner of what's considered one of the state's most premier public golf courses, according to Ellwood City.org

The Ellwood City news site reports that Sewickley entrepreneur Joseph Nocito paid $15 million to purchase Olde Stonewall Golf Course and the adjoining Shakespeare’s Restaurant and Pub on Aug. 31.

Former owner Rick Hvizdak developed the multi-million dollar golf course and 30,000-square-foot castle-like restaurant-clubhouse in 1999. Olde Stonewall officially opened in June that year in North Sewickley Township, Beaver County, according to EllwoodCity.org.
