Unique Boutique: Una Biologicals, Pretzel Crazy, Beaver Woodwright

In anticipation of the 12th annual Unique Boutique, Patch is featuring a few of the businesses leading up to Saturday's event.

Fifty vendors are slated to attend Saturday's 12th annual Unique Boutique at the Edgeworth Club. They range from adult and children's clothing to gourmet food, home décor and jewelry. They feature nationally-known products or specially crafted items.

Each vendor has a unique business story in how they began. Today, we feature three of the vendors, including a hometown seller.

Una Biologicals

Una Biologicals, owned by Jessica Wilson Graves, is a local, woman-owned company producing luxury organic beauty and wellness products. Una Biologicals believes that your body and your beauty deserve the best that nature has to offer, which is why products are handmade in small batches with the highest quality ingredients to nurture you and your skin. The product line includes face cream, body butters, lip balms, wonder salves, bath products, yoga supplies and organic teas.

Una also has deep ties to the Sewickley community. Sandra Wilson, long time teacher at Edgeworth Elementary, and Graves' aunt, is a long time Una user and weekly volunteer at the Una Biologicals production studio. Una has been carried in several Sewickley retail stores, and is a favorite at benefits for the Sewickley Chapter of Eastern Star, with most of the Chapter hooked on Una’s Wound Wonder & Bruise Balm and its healing effects.

Pretzel Crazy

Pretzel Crazy is a Pittsburgh company owned by Sheri Powell that creates caramel and chocolate-coated pretzels with assorted candy, nut and cookie toppings for business gifts, bridal and baby showers, weddings and all other gift giving needs.

Pretzel will coordinate the colors of the toppings to fit corporate logos, bridal colors and holidays.

Beaver Woodwright

Beaver Woodwright was created by Kelly Hogan in his Beaver studio. Hogan combined his love of woodcarving with his curiosity of how pens work to create a custom handcrafted pen.  Hogan and his wife carefully choose quality wood to make a natural style pen.  KH Pens are writing instruments that combine the beauty of the wood grain with the function of balance and comfort in your hand.  They make great gifts for the college graduate, business person or gift recognition of a special achievement.
