Visions for Vacancies: Quaker Village Beer Distributor

Our series asks readers for ideas, thoughts and opinions on what should fill vacant storefronts in the Sewickley Patch.

The  in Leetsdale closed in January 2011 and has been empty ever since. 

Customers who frequented the beer distributor, near the state Wine & Spirits store, said they were sorry to see it go. as one of the original stores in the Quaker Village Shopping Center dating back to the 1960s.

The distributor is located in the middle of the plaza, near the post office. One of the positive's of the distributor is its accessibility from Route 65 and Beaver Street. Located in the middle of the plaza, the space is also in close proximity to , , , and, of course, the .
