Update: Flood Watch Ends for Area

Creeks, streams were running high this morning.

A flood watch that was in effect until 4 p.m. today has been lifted for Southwest Pennsylvania, according to the National Weather Service.

Overnight, 1 to 2 inches of rain reportedly fell across the watch area. Streams and creeks were running at high levels and out of their banks in some places due to last nights rain, the weather service said.
