A Call for Artists and Crafters

Holiday mART, a Sewickley tradition, and Autumn Fest, an annual Leetsdale event, seek participants.

is celebrating its 18th annual holiday sale of handcrafted, unique works created by local and national artisans and is currently seeking new artists.

is a Sewickley tradition and includes a large selection of jewelry, ceramics, glass, fiber arts, two-dimensional artand much more. Holiday mART is juried annually.

To submit an entry for Holiday mART click here and download an artist entry form. The entry deadline is Monday, Oct. 15.

Holiday mART will be held Nov. 25 - Dec. 2, 2012. Hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Admission to the sale is free. As a nonprofit organization, Holiday mART proceeds support Sweetwater’s numerous art programs for children and adults held throughout the year in addition to providing support to participating artists.

Leetsdale Autumn Fest

is seeking crafters to participate in this year's Autumn Fest-Treasures in Park, the club's annual fundraiser.

The event is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, in Henle Park, .

Crafters, artists, flea market tables and vendors, including food vendors, are invited to participate.

The cost of a space begins at $10. Contact Mary Kay Dschuhan, club vice president, at 724-266-3925 for more information.

The event includes pony rides from Party Ponies and Farm Friends, a concession stand, the 'Punkin Mumkin Patch' set up with pumpkins for sale and a children's area with pumpkin painting, face painting, a haystack and more.
