In Case You Missed It: Super Bowl Crawl

Sewickley Patch highlighted the editor's picks of great local businesses to catch the Super Bowl game earlier this week when we presented Patch's new weekly feature, called Patch Picks. 

If you're still looking for a place to watch the big game, here is a list of Patch's Picks for Super Bowl Sunday:

Sunny Jim's Tavern

● Enjoy the Super Bowl in a friendly atmosphere at 255 Camp Horne Road. If you're planning to go to Sunny Jim's, there is a $10 cover on Sunday, which includes a free buffet. Drink specials haven't been determined yet. The bar opens at 10 a.m.

●  The lively atmosphere at Pizza Roma, 426 Beaver St., makes the bar one of Patch's top choices to watch the Steelers in the Super Bowl.  Game day specials aren't finalized yet. The bar opens at noon.

●Surround yourself with fellow Steelers fans at Marroni's Lounge, 1 Ohio River Boulevard, while you watch the Super Bowl on a huge projection screen or take your pick of other flatscreens around the bar. Game day specials include a buffet and "Marroni coupons," for $1 off drinks and food every time the Steelers score a touchdown and 50 cents off every time they kick a field goal.  The bar opens at 11 a.m.

Sharp Edge

●With three televisions at the bar and one in the dining room, Sharp Edge, 510 Beaver St., is a top choice if you're looking for a home away from home to watch the Steelers pummel the Green Bay Packers. The Sewickley bistro opens from 11 a.m., but be prepared if the game runs late. The bar closes ato 9 p.m. Specials include a Pint-O-7 -- Piraat and Donnybrook Black n Gold (ahem, Tan) --  for $7.77.

Hark's Place

● In nearby Ambridge, Hark's Place, 70 Beaver St., sits at the edge of Leet Township and is a neighborhood watering hole that supports the black and gold. Drink specials incude $1.75 Coors Light bottles. The bar opens at noon.
