Patch Editor's Family Shares Tornado Image from Moore, OK
Video shows a dark, thick cloud headed right for their home in Moore.
I was grateful to learn that my sister, Deborah, her husband and their two young children were physically unharmed in Monday's devastating tornado that tore through their community in Moore, OK.
They lost power, but their home was untouched. Just blocks away, the tornado ravaged the town, including an elementary school. At least 24 people were killed.
My brother-in-law shot this video and snapped a few photos before taking shelter in their underground safe room. Click here to find out how you can help the tornado victims.
