Patch Pets: Meet Alex

All of his siblings were chosen, but poor Alex was left behind.

Hi there! I'm Alex, a 1-year-old brown Tabby who is friendly yet shy, particularly around loud noises. I'm affectionate and waiting for someone to adopt me from Animal Friends.

My mother was dropped off at a vet’s office when she was pregnant. After she delivered, all of my siblings were taken home, but I was left behind. My previous caregiver speculates that no one chose me because of a skin condition that left me with patches of missing fur. To those at Animal Friends, though, my strange appearance only adds to my charm.

I love attention and other cats. I especially like to be held and petted. My caregiver also said I was having trouble using my litter box. I'm doing just fine with my litter at Animal Friends, so they will be glad to share tips to make sure I succeed at your house, too! I am neutered, up-to-date on shots and micro-chipped. Come to Animal Friends to meet me. I'm charming, sweet and affectionate.
