PennDOT Plans I-79 Ramp Traffic Shifts in Glenfield

Shifts will occur Friday and Saturday at the Route 65 interchange.

Motorists traveling on the Interstate 79 and Route 65 interchange in Glenfield later this week will experience traffic shifts on two ramps Friday and Saturday, July 8 and 9, weather permitting.

According to PennDOT, crews will be replacing pavement transitions on the ramp from Deer Run Road (Kilbuck Street/Route 65) to southbound 79 and the ramp from northbound 79 to 65 (Exit 66 Emsworth/Sewickley.)

The ramps will remain open with traffic shifted around the work areas from 7 p.m. on Friday through 7 p.m. on Saturday, PennDOT said in a statement.
