UPDATE: Sewickley Valley Could See More Thunderstorms, Lower Temperatures

The weather is expected to go from feeling like late spring to late fall by Friday.

The National Weather Service in Moon Township says another round of showers and thunderstorms is expected through Friday morning in the region.

About 2 to 3 inches of rain has fallen across the Allegheny River Basin since Wednesday afternoon and the weather service expects an additional 1 to 2 inches of rain to fall again overnight into early Friday.

A flood advisory has been issued through Friday evening for the Ohio River at Pittsburgh. The rain could lead to rising streams and potential flooding in low lying areas, the weather service said.
