Veteran's Day Assembly

Sewickley Academy’s Veterans Day assembly takes place on in Rea Auditorium. During this annual tradition, the Academy community comes together to remember, thank, and honor the men and women in the various branches of the United States Armed Forces who serve or served our country.

Sewickley Academy alumnus Captain Goldwyn Harper ’00 will deliver the keynote address during this year’s Veterans Day assembly. After graduation from the Academy in 2000, Goldwyn attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, from which he graduated in 2004. Goldwyn then went on to serve in the army for seven years. He is currently pursuing a joint MBA/JD at Michigan State University and expects to receive both degrees in 2014.

All local veterans, servicemen and servicewomen, and their families are invited to participate in this special ceremony.
