The church will serve authentic homemade German food and desserts in the church dining room from 10:00am  until 5:00pm.  A German bakery, featuring peach küchen, fall sweet breads, and homemade white bread will also be available.

Tours of the historic church building will be conducted from 10:00am until 5:00pm on Saturday, September 21.

St. John’s, the historic Harmonist church, is located at 1320 Church Street, Ambridge, across from Old Economy Village.

Concurrent with the German dining, Old Economy Village (across the street) will be celebrating Erntefest, the Harmonist Harvest Festival.  The Village will feature artisans and crafts people demonstrating their skills. Visitors can churn butter, press apples and grapes, make rope, try bread from the bread oven, and eat homemade grape pies made from the grapes harvested from the grounds.

For additional information about the activities please visit our website at www.stjohnsambridge.org or contact the church office at 724-266-5618.
