Girls' Night Out: Paper Beads

Join in the fun as we create our own beads. Inspired by the women of Uganda, who make and sell paper beads from recycled papers, we will use a variety of materials such as magazines, patterned papers and even color our own papers. We will roll our beads and use a shellac finish for more permanency. There are endless possibilities to create your one-of-a-kind bracelets or necklaces using this technique. Make jewelry to match one of your outfits or create a unique gift for a friend. Materials fee included in the tuition. Member tuition: $35, Non-member tuition: $50. Ages 18 and up.
