Introduction to Canning

If you are looking for a new and sustaining hobby, canning is the answer! Join Raemie of the blog, In the Kitchen with Raemie, every Thursday from October 24 to December 12 as she brings seasonal food and a fun frugality to your kitchen. If you are a gardener, you will learn how to preserve your bounty to enjoy throughout the year. Recipes will include pickled beans, tomato sauce and a corn relish. The series will conclude with seasonal gift ideas. We will showcase a few ways to dress up those jars, making them beautiful gifts for any occasion! Materials fee is included in the tuition. Member tuition: $140, Non-member tuition: $155. Ages 18 and up. No class on October 31, November 28 and December 5.
