Animal Friends Hosts 'Cinco de Meow' Kitten Adoption Event

Join Animal Friends on Thursday, May 5 from 11am - 6:30 for a Cinco de Meow celebration and kitten adoption event.

Adoptable kittens will be free-roaming in Animal Friends' Outreach Center. Adoption Counselors will be on site to serve margaritas (non-alcoholic) and chips and salsa, and answer your questions about kitten adoption.

Kitten season is the time of year mother cats have their kittens, flooding animal shelters across the nation with unwanted felines. Sadly, kitten season is a problem for kittens and adult cats alike, as homeless adult cats are often overlooked when potential adopters are charmed by litters of kittens.

Times are tough for cats, but there are many ways people can help: by spaying or neutering their cats; adopting a shelter kitten or cat; or sponsoring a spay surgery on Animal Friends' website, www.ThinkingOutsideTheCage.org.
