The Penguin Bookshop Children's Festival is an held in effort to accumulate donated books geared towards teens for the Homeless Children's Education Fund. Monetary donations are also accepted.
The daylong event will include:
- 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.: It's a Penguin Party
- 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Elvis, a penguin from the National Aviary will stop by!
- 11 a.m.: Brett Kiesel of the Pittsburgh Steelers will stop by to read two stories!
- 12 - 1 p.m.: An Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social: Make a Sundae on Saturday. Sewickley Patch will provide all the ingredients to create the perfect sundae!
