Food Pantry: Sewickley Community Center Food Drive Begins

Through Nov. 15, the community is being asked to help stock the shelves for neighbors in need.

For more than 30 years, the Sewickley Community Center's Food Pantry has been steadfast with providing food to those in need in Sewickley and surrounding communities. 

The food pantry, open every Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., is now preparing for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday and Sewickley Savings Bank is conducting a food drive to help.

Starting today, Oct. 15 through Friday, Nov. 15, the community is being asked to join in the food drive and help stock the shelves for those that need it most.

Food Pantry Staples:
Peanut Butter Spaghetti
Jelly Spaghetti Sauce
Cereals Canned Vegetables
Pancake Mix Canned Fruits
Pancake Syrup Soups
Tuna/Canned Meats Baby Food
Macaroni and Cheese

Also, to offer items to pantry patrons such as:
Paper Products (towels, bathroom tissue, facial tissue, etc.)
Toiletries (soap, deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste/toothbrush, etc.)
Dishwashing/Laundry Detergents.
