Betty J. Condit

Betty Condit was a founding member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Bell Acres/Big Sewickley Creek Fire Department.

Betty J. (Mull) Condit, age 87, a 17-year resident of Leetsdale, formerly of Bell Acres, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2012 at West Hills Health and Rehab.

She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on May 5, 1925 to the late James and Hattie Ida Mae (Shrum) Mull.

In 1987, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Condit. In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by her daughter Roberta Klacik, son-in-law Gregory Bilonick, three sisters and a brother.

Loving mother of Betty Aquino (Victor) of Ecomony Borough, Kenneth Condit (Barb) of Fair Oaks, Connie Bilonick of Morgantown, WV and William Condit (Tami) of Freehold, NJ; mother-in-law to Thomas Klacik of Baden; grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of three.

Betty was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Ladies Auxiliary of Leetsdale VFW and a founding member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Bell Acres/Big Sewickley Creek Fire Department. She was an avid bingo and card player.

Visitation is from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Copeland's Sewickley, 702 Beaver St. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 616 Washington St., Sewickley, PA 15143.

The family would like to thank the staff of West Hills Health and Rehab for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in her name to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
