Dorothy "Dot" A. (Kanoza) Brenner

Dot Brenner drove school bus for Quaker Valley School District and was a member of St. Mary's Church in Glenfield.

Dorothy “Dot” A. (Kanoza) Brenner, 82, of Sewickley, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, Dec. 21, 2012.

She was born in Pittsburgh on Feb. 13, 1930 to the late Joseph and Caroline (Cyganik) Kanoza.

On June 11, 1998, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Clarence “Red” Brenner, Sr.

Beloved mother of C. Paul Brenner and Caroline Brenner both of Sewickley; cherished grandmother of Paula Barkin (Mike), Douglas Brenner (Stacy) and Dana Woods; loving great grandmother of Marissa, Michael, Ashliann, and Conner; sister of Theresa Jones (Sam) of Brookville, Caroline Young (Jim) of Pittsburgh and the late Cyril and Edward Kanoza.

Visitation Wednesday (12-26-12) 2-4, 7-9 at Copeland's Sewickley, 702 Beaver where Blessing Service will be on Thursday (12-27-12) at 10 AM, Father David Jastrab officiating.

Burial in Sewickley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org or 1-800-805-5856.
