Dr. Henry was a practicing ophthalmologist for 35 years in Sewickley.
Dr. Edgar S. Henry, Jr., age 86, a life-long resident of , passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Villa St. Joseph.
He was born in Pittsburgh on April 28, 1925 to the late Edna (Mathay) and Edgar Schall Henry, Sr. Beloved husband for 56 years to Honor (Linton) Henry; loving father of Janet Pastors (Richard) of Bethel Park and Greg Henry (Nancy) of Vienna, VA; cherished grandfather of Alyssa, Shelby and Michael.
Dr. Henry was a graduate of Allegheny College and the University of Pittsburgh Medical School. He was a practicing ophthalmologist for 35 years in Sewickley. Visitation was Saturday at , 702 Beaver St.

Burial was private at Sewickley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in his name to Sisters of St. Joseph, 560 St. Joseph Way, Baden, PA 15005.
