Farrell “Georgia Peach” Autry

Farrell retired as general foreman in maintenance from LTV after 35 years, then began and operated his own business, Serve-All Inc.

Farrell “Georgia Peach” Autry, age 80, a Glenfield resident since 1957, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013 at Heritage Valley Sewickley. 

He was born in Cleveland, GA on Dec. 12, 1932 to the late Carrie Lee and “Doc” Autry.

Beloved husband for 56 years to Toni (Faust) Autry; loving father of Cindy Mitchell (Kirk) of Chandler, AZ and Tom Autry (Diane) of Monaca, PA; cherished grandfather of Sara & Nicholas Mitchell, Brandi & Nikole Burns; brother of Betty Colston (Doc) of Cornelia, GA, Crandall Autry (Dianne) of Gainesville, GA and the late Margaret Harkins, L.D. Autry, Ray Neal Autry, Virgil Autry, Benny Autry and infant Raymond Autry.

Farrell retired as general foreman in maintenance from LTV after 35 years, then began and operated his own business, Serve-All Inc. for the next 15 years. Serve-All was an industrial contracting company. He was a holder of several patents utilized internationally.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Valley Veteran Association of Glenfield-holding the office of Commander several times, and proudly served his country as Corporal in the U.S. Army.

Visitation is Saturday 5-8 and Sunday 1-4, 7-9 at Copeland’s Sewickley, 702 Beaver St. Funeral service will be heldon Monday at 11 AM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 616 Washington St., Sewickley, PA 15143. Burial will follow at Sewickley Cemetery. Family welcomes flowers or donations to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church
