Janice Puskar Zalewski

Janice was a tireless volunteer who helped build a support network for families affected by Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, which eventually became SIDS of Pennsylvania -- now Cribs for Kids.

Janice (Jan) Puskar, age 63, of Sterling VA, formerly of Sewickley, PA, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday August 22.  

Daughter of Dolores and the late Eugene Zalewski of Lawrenceville, PA; beloved wife of the late Charles E. Puskar, Jr.; loving mother of Stacy (Keith) Simpson, Michael (Lidia) Puskar and the late Bryan Puskar; stepmother to Charles (Patricia) Puskar III and Mary Catharine Puskar; cherished grandmother of Taylor, Chase, Addie, Mia and Connor; sister to Cynthia (late John) Hockenberger, Michele (Dennis) Sullivan, Karen (Ron) Freyermuth and the late Eugene and Chere Zalewski. Loving aunt to Jill, Joe, Danielle, Ashley, Korey and Ronnie.

Janice was a loving mother and a tireless volunteer and worked alongside her husband to help build a support network for families affected by Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, which eventually became SIDS of Pennsylvania (now Cribs for Kids). 

Family and Friends will be received at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, PA 15201 Saturday 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. immediately followed by a Funeral Service at the Funeral Home at 12 p.m.
