Mary Jane (Persuit) Russo
Prayers will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Copeland Funeral Home followed by 10 a.m. Mass at St. James Church in Sewickley.
Mary Jane (Persuit) Russo, age 81, of Moon Township, formerly of Sewickley most of her life, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Sewickley on Jan. 25, 1931 to the late James and Ellen “Nellie” (Sullivan) Persuit. Beloved wife for 59 years to Louis A. Russo; loving mother of Robert Russo of Burbank, CA, Lu Ann Datesh & husband James of Mt. Lebanon, and Susan Russo of Nevillewood; devoted grandmother of Jay Datesh, Anne Datesh and Valen Russo; cherished sister of Gerald Persuit of Sewickley.
Her family was her life. Baking and cooking for her family was one of the many ways she showed her love. She was a member of .

Visitation Thursday 2-4, 7-9 at , 702 Beaver St. where prayers will be recited on Friday at 9:30 AM followed by Mass at St. James at 10 AM. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
