Mathew Joseph Rozday Jr.
Friends will be received 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 8:30-10 a.m. Friday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Franklin Park, where a service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday.
Joseph Rozday (Mathew Joseph Rozday Jr.) age 61 of Emsworth passed away suddenly Sept. 3, 2011 in . Born in Pittsburgh, March 12, 1950, he was the son of the late Mathew J. & Rose Aldine Weiss Rozday. Joe was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 4th Ward.
A self employed Concrete Contractor since 1970, he was respected by his friends as a physically powerful man. He was a well known softball player in the North Hills area as a third baseman and catcher. As a side line, Joe was the owner of Joe Rozday Productions doing Musical Recordings, Video and Photography.
He also served in the Air National Guard during the Vietnam era.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Christina Zipparo Rozday, his two precious children Nathan Joseph & Laura Rose Rozday or Emsworth, one grandson Joseph Nathan Rozday, upon whom he doted, a sister Vicky Rozday of Mohnton Pa. and a cousin Clifford “Buddy” Burtoft of Cranberry Township. Friends will be received Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2210 Reis Run Road, Franklin Park, where a service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday.
