Richard A. "Dick" Farley

The Air Force veteran was retired from the Sewickley VFW and Sewickley Hotel.

Richard A. “Dick” Farley, 69, a resident of Sewickley for the past 50 years, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at UPMC Passavant.

He was born in Pittsburgh on March 29, 1943 to the late Albert and Dolores (Bowman) Farley. Beloved husband for 50 years of Edith (Tolbert) Farley; loving father of Karen Morrow (Alan) of Moon Township, Richard A. Farley Jr. of Sewickley, Barbara Interval (Gary) of McCandless Township, and Susan Creese (Jon) of Baden; devoted grandfather of Richard Farley III (Victoria), William & Matthew Morrow, Gabrielle & Michael Interval and Jack, Emma & Owen Creese; cherished brother of Kathy Joyce of Sewickley.

He was a member of , , and lifetime member of Valley Vets in Glenfield. He was retired from Sewickley VFW and . He served in the U.S. Air Force.

Friendly to all, he was fondly known as the ambassador of . Visitation was Thursday at , 702 Beaver St. where service was held on Friday. Interment was in Sewickley Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
