The Beaver Grade Road eatery has a laid-back atmosphere. It has plenty of seating, offering wooden-booths as well as table and chairs. The décor is from an era gone by and lends the eatery a charming feel.
The restaurant is known for its generous soup and salad bar selection, complete with fresh breads, fruits, desserts and soft-serve ice cream with plenty of topping choices. It’s enough for a meal ($7.99), or for a delicious side to your choice of entrée.
As its name would suggest, Hoss’s offers plenty of steak and seafood. A six-ounce sirloin steak is $10.99, an eight-ounce costs $13.99; a 12-ounce is $15.99. Premium cuts such as the Rib Eye, Filet Mignon and Flat Iron, cost $13.99 to $18.99.
Shrimp, scallop medallions and salmon are offered on the menu for $12.99 to $13.99.
Maryland-style crab cakes and cold water South African lobster tail are $13.99 and $24.99, respectively.
The menu also includes chicken, ribs, burgers and sandwiches. The restaurant has a children’s menu.
Hoss’s is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
