1. PETSMART CHARITIES NATIONAL ADOPTION WEEKEND
Where/When: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Shelters will be there from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) Friday through Sunday, PetSmart Pittsburgh, Robinson.
Why Go: Looking for a pet? Save the life of a homeless animal while getting a lifelong and loving friend!
Cost: Minimal veterinary fee.

Where/When: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at The Naked Grape Wine Bistro, Sewickley.
Why Go: Have dinner or stop by for a glass of wine to celebrate Sewickley's Spring in true Naked Grape style! Enjoy the return of spring and outdoor dining on one of the restaurant’s biggest nights of the year.

3. GUSTER
Where/When:7 p.m. Saturday Stage, AE, North Side.
Why Go: The show is for all ages, and Good Old War is opening. The acoustic-pop
threesome is known to put on a good show.
Admission: Tickets are $22.50 in advance or $26 at the door.
4. NINTENDO DS MADNESS
Where/When: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Moon Public Library, Moon Township.
Why Go: For all DS lovers! Hang out at the library and play DS with other kids while enjoying snacks and listening to music. Children must bring their own systems/games.

5. 50th ANNUAL GREEK FOOD FESTIVAL
Where/When: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Pittsburgh.
Why Go: Enjoy live Bouzouki music and Greek dancing, and sample different Greek foods at the Oakland landmark at 419 S. Dithridge St.
