Using Stimulus Funds, our utilities are rushing to install Smart Meters (SM), before the funds run out.

2. These two-way meters will be used to shut YOU down if you use too much electricity at the wrong time- Like your A/C at 5:00PM - a peak time.

3. The electric company also gets to charge you for the priviledge -not only for the meter but for its instalation. Read PA Act 129 (2008)

PA Representative Mike Reese, with the support of Reps. Mark Mustio and Jim Marshall, has proposed HB 2188 which will permit us to OPT-OUT.

Support your State Represntatives in this effort- After all, who is the customer?

An apparent SM plus: If you do your clothes drying at 2AM, you would get a lower rate...
