Ambridge Police Warn Businesses about This Man

Police say Timothy George Sepella is writing bad checks and taking items without paying.

The Ambridge Police Department has issued a warning to business owners after receiving multiple complaints from numerous Ambridge businesses regarding a male writing bad checks and taking items without paying, police said.

Police have identified the man as Timothy George Sepella and are asking business owners to exercise caution when accepting a check from Sepella.

Police said business owners should not allow Sepella to purchase anything, such as food or services, without paying for it first.

"If Sepella is in your store and causes any type of disturbance, please contact the Ambridge Police Department immediately."

Sepella is described as a white male, 5-foot-8, 180 pounds, thin build, hazel eyes, brown hair above his ears, tattoos on his neck and sometimes wearing eye glasses.

Sepella has the following tattoos:

“Veni Vidi Vici” – center of throat
A five point star – right side of neck
Unknown marking – left side of neck
