Area Police Investigating Rash of Vandalism

Police say someone went on a spree in at least four communities, egging vehicles and shooting out windows.

Local police were dealing with a rash of vandalism in at least four communities after someone went on a spree Sunday night into Monday.

Leetsdale police Sgt. Dan Raible said someone passed through Leetsdale, Leet Township, Sewickley, Edgeworth, and possibly other communities, and bombarded cars with eggs and shot out numerous windows with a BB gun.

“We don’t know if it was juveniles…there’s no rhyme or reason. They just went all over the place. Whatever they thought was targetable. They just did it.”
