The following people have been charged and are scheduled for preliminary hearings at District Judge Robert Ford's office in Leetsdale:

Waived

  • Richard Lubic, 32, of Sewickley, charged with driving under the influence and failing to obey stop signs. Leetsdale Police reported that Lubic failed to come to a complete stop March 24 at a stop sign at the intersection of Broad and Beaver streets. Police said Lubic failed a field sobriety test and was taken to l for a blood-alcohol test. Police did not report the results.
  • Tacoria Revis, 24, of Ambridge, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and careless driving. Sewickley Police reported that shortly before 3 a.m. on March 28, officers stopped Revis’s car after seeing it drift several times into the opposite lane on Route 65. Revis was taken to Heritage Valley Sewickley Hospital for a blood-alcohol test. Police did not report the results.
  • R.B. Sanders, 43, of Coraopolis, is charged with robbery, theft, receiving stolen property, harassment, driving with a suspended license and unauthorized use of automobiles. Sewickley Police said Steve Baily reported on April 24 that Sanders had stolen his keys out of his pocket a week earlier and wouldn’t give the keys back. Police said Sanders called Bailey on April 25 to report the car was on Duquesne Way in Sewickley. Sometime between 11:30 p.m. and midnight, police said Sanders again used the stolen keys to take the car. While investigating, police said they learned Sanders' driver's license is suspended.

Postponed

  • David A. Moss, 42, of Bellevue, charged with two counts of theft. Bell Acres Police said Moss was seen running from the 1800 block of Big Sewickley Creek Road carrying two pieces of metal and putting it into the back of a pickup truck, police said. Moss admitted that he took items from the property, along with scrap from Baden Steel Bar & Bolt, and recycling the items at Metalico Metals on Neville Island, police said.
  • Bernadette Book, 53, and Ronald Book, 40, both of Ambridge, are each charged with access device fraud, theft and two counts of criminal conspiracy. Leetsdale Police said the Books stole a credit card from their son’s Leetsdale home while visiting on Dec. 21. The couple used the card without permission several times between Dec. 21 and 23, charging a total of $610. Bernadette Book told her son that they had taken and used the card, police said.

Withdrawn

  • Donna Clay, 36, of Moon Township, was charged with felony theft by unlawful taking and felony theft by deception. Leetsdale Police said Clay was the secretary at Latimore Trucking & Supply, 115 Third St., and was accused of taking $12,865 by forging vacation paysheets.
