District Court: Burglary Suspects Waive Charges to Court

Two Glenshaw men waived their right to a preliminary hearing Tuesday at office on charges of burglarizing several cars in and racking up nearly $10,000 in damage and thefts.

David W. Landy, 24, and Ryan S. Marshall, 23, are charged with two counts of theft and one count of access device fraud, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.

According to a criminal complaint, received several reports of on July 29, including one in the 400 block of Meadow Lane where police said the men shattered a car window and caused an estimated $4,375 in damage to the car.

Police said the men took change, electronics, a watch and a wallet from cars on Leet Road, Oliver Road and Maple Lane and used stolen credit cards to purchase $2,550 in gift cards.

Police said they identified Landy and Marshall as the two responsible for the Edgeworth crimes. The men also face from Shaler and McCandless Township police.
