District Court: Woman Runs From Police After Leaving Eat'n Park Without Paying

Police say Olivia Domenick,19, of Moon was driving under the influence.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for a Moon Township woman accused of leaving Eat'n Park without paying, driving intoxicated and fleeing police.

Edgeworth Police charged Olivia Domenick, 19, of Rivercrest Drive, with driving under the influence, underage drinking, fleeing or attempting to elude police, theft of services, carrying a false identification card, and reckless driving. A hearing will take place May 3.

Police said , and police officers were eating at 3:55 a.m. April 16 inside the when a waitress there came up to the officers and told them two females had left without paying.

Police said the women got into their vehicle and began driving out of the parking lot. Officers ran out of the restaurant attempting to stop the car that police said Domenick was driving.

Police said Domenick never turned the headlights on, and drove over a curb into oncoming traffic, nearly colliding with a tractor-trailer on Route 65. Police went after the southbound vehicle. The tractor-trailer driver stopped a Leetsdale officer in the area of the Sewickley Bridge and told police Domenick’s car had pulled into the Sewickley Car Store parking lot.

Police arrested Domenick and another woman there. Police said Domenick had two false driver’s licenses and smelled like alcohol. Police learned she was under 21. Domenick’s car was towed and she was taken to Heritage Valley Sewickley Hospital to submit to a blood-alcohol test. Test results are pending.

  • William Jeter, 48, of Ambridge, charged with unauthorized use of automobiles. Leetsdale Police said Jeter asked a co-worker on July 15 to borrow his 2009 Ford Ranger. Mark Bleigh told police he let Jeter borrow his vehicle for an hour or two so Jeter could run an errand. Police aired the vehicle as stolen and nearly 12 hours later, the pickup was recovered in Aliquippa, police said.
  • Shawn M. Redmond, 24, of Pittsburgh, charged with loitering and prowling at nighttime, trespass by vehicle and defiant trespass. Ohio Township Police said Redmond on Feb. 28 took 30 marine deep cycle batteries and scrap from a Dumpster from Dawson Avenue in Glenfield. The scrap was worth $700 to $1,000, police said. Redmond’s pickup was captured on a surveillance camera and witnesses identified the truck as being on the property.
  • Lewis Luckan, 33, of Bell Acres, charged with three counts of possession of heroin and nine counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bell Acres police were dispatched to Luckan's home at 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 3 for a report of a drug overdose and found heroin and empty stamp bags, police said.
