Roundup of Suspected Drug Dealers Nets 25 Arrests

The Pennsylvania Attorney General's office filed charges Wednesday against suspects in Sewickley and Leetsdale as part of an investigation in Beaver and Allegheny counties.

A Sewickley resident and a Leetsdale resident are among the 25 facing drug charges in a roundup led by investigators from the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office that stretched from Beaver to Allegheny counties.

Agents from the attorney general's office and local police filed criminal charges Wednesday against the suspected mid-level and street-level drug dealers. The busts came following an investigation of illegal drugs flowing into the greater Pittsburgh area, the attorney general's office said.

According to investigators, those charged were obtaining heroin, marijuana, cocaine and prescription drugs largely from the North Side and supplying dealers in Beaver County communities that stretched from Beaver Falls to Ambridge, and from Sewickley to Moon in Allegheny County.
