Mall at Robinson Evacuated After Bomb Threat

The mall will reopen for normal business hours on Monday.

The Mall at Robinson was evacuated after a bomb threat was found in a changing room at Sears on Sunday afternoon.

WPXI-TV is reporting that a "typed and neatly folded" note stated there were multiple explosive devices in the mall set to simultaneously detonate.

The bomb squad was called to the scene, according to KDKA-TV.

The mall remained closed after police cleared the scene about 5:30 p.m. Sunday and will reopen Monday, operating under normal business hours.

On its Facebook page, the mall issued this statement: "Following the incident at Mall at Robinson earlier today, we have been working with, and will continue to work closely with, local authorities to help them with their investigation. The safety of our guests, employees and tenants is our top priority and we have evacuated the Mall, which will remain closed through the end of today so the authorities can complete their investigation."
