Photo Gallery: Mock Crash Warns QV Students of Drinking, Driving Dangers

Quaker Valley High School is site of mock DUI crash ahead of this weekend's Homecoming activities.

 students received a sobering reminder Tuesday about the deadly consequences of making bad choices in their celebrations.

Local police, EMS and fire personnel took part in a mock DUI crash at the high school before this weekend's  are set to begin.

As part of her personal project presentation,  student Vanda Freiberger worked with  to create an extremely realistic tableau for the teen audience.

Students watched as six of their classmates participated in a rescue demonstration of the aftermath of a drunken-driving crash. Some students painted their faces white to represent those who have died in drug or alcohol-related crashes. 

Participating departments included  and , , Leet Township Police and Valley Ambulance.
