Pittsburgh Man Charged with Endangering Minors

A man charged after a traffic stop will face a preliminary hearing today in Leetsdale District Court.

A Pittsburgh man charged with writing bad checks in Franklin Park borough will face a preliminary hearing Tuesday in Leetsdale District Court

Katoki Earl Tucker, 46, is accused of writing nine checks valued at $12,000 at multiple local banking institutions from April 1 to June 7, 2012.

During the same period of time, Tucker withdrew $4,497.94 from an account at Pittsburgh Central Federal Credit Union, before the credit union received the checks returned due to closed accounts, police in Franklin Park borough said.

Tucker was charged on Feb. 14, according to a criminal complaint.

Eric L. Rossmiller, 43, of Pittsburgh, was charged with endangering the welfare of children, recklessly endangering another person, driving while under the influence of alcohol, corruption of minors, driving with a suspended licence, and reckless endangerment. 

Police in Franklin Park borough arrested Rossmiller following a traffic stop on March 2 on State Route 910 near the Interstate 79 south ramp, after an officer spotted him speeding and driving the wrong way Wexford Bayne Road.

Rossmiller's teenage daughter and her friends were in the vehicle. Police discovered several plastic bags containing marijuana belonging to the teens, according to a criminal complaint.
