Police Seek Man Who Filmed Woman in Macy's Dressing Room

The man reportedly held a cell phone under the edge of the door from the dressing cubicle next door and, using the video function, captured images of the woman.

Ross Township Police are looking for a man who reportedly videotaped a woman in a dressing room at at Ross Park Mall.

The woman was in a dressing room on the second floor of the department store Aug. 16 when she noticed a cell phone protruding under the edge of the door from the dressing cubicle next door.

The phone panned between the victim and the mirror several times, the woman said, according to police. After realizing she might be being taped, she said "excuse me" and the phone was pulled away, police said.

The woman confronted the man outside the dressing room area. The man fled the store on foot and into the upper parking lot of the mall. 

The suspect is described as being in his early twenties with a thin build, short hair. He was wearing a black shirt, khaki shorts and basketball shoes.

A survelliance video captured an image released by police. Anyone with information on his identity is asked to call at 412-931-9070.
