Sewickley police said the girl was outside her home when the man stopped to talk to her.

A man accosted a Sewickley teenager recently then chased her into her home when she began to run away from him, Sewickley police reported.

Police said the man was walking south shortly before 10:30 p.m. Dec. 27 on Washington Street when he stopped on the sidewalk at the end of the teen's driveway and said, “hi sweetie, how are you doing?”

At this time, the 13-year-old picked up her dog and began to move toward the house when the male began to run after her, police said.
