Police responded shortly after 3 a.m. to Chadwick Street, but didn’t find anyone injured.

After speaking to club security and a manager at the post, police learned there was a fight between two males inside the party room at the back of the club. Security broke up the fight and escorted the two men outside, police said.

Police said the staff didn’t believe the men fighting fired shots outside and no shell casings could be found.

Police spoke to a 19-year-old witness who told police he tried to break up the fight and was struck in the head with a bottle. The Aliquippa man never heard gunshots, police said.

A second witness, a 26-year-old Aliquippa man, told police he was also helping to break up the fight when he saw a man strike his sister and jump inside a car. He punched the man’s car window as the vehicle sped away and he had to go to the hospital because he hurt his hand, police said.

Police departments from , , and  offered assistance with the call at the Legion, which could be connected to a shooting that followed Saturday afternoon in Aliquippa.

According to the Beaver County Times, Aliquippa police are looking for two suspects wanted for a Saturday afternoon drive-by shooting of Dajuan Savage, 19, of Aliquippa.

Police Chief Andre Davis told the Times Monday that arrest warrants have been issued for Damontae A. Williams, 19, and Jasper E. Clancy, 19, both of Aliquippa, for trying to kill Savage, who was shot in the torso while standing outside.

Williams and Clancy are charged with attempted homicide, persons not to possess firearms, firearms not to be carried without a license, criminal conspiracy, reckless endangerment and two counts of aggravated assault.

Davis told the Times the shooting might have stemmed from the Sewickley fight.
