Sewickley Woman Killed in Car Crash
According to Moon Township police, a Sewickley woman was found trapped in her vehicle Friday after striking a utility pole.
A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Thorn Run Road Friday afternoon, Moon Township police reported.
Joanne Rollins, 48, no address given, was found trapped in her vehicle after striking a utility pole near Canterbury Drive in Moon about 12:15 p.m., police said.
Police found her in cardiac arrest and administered CPR after pulling her from the vehicle. Valley Ambulance Authority personnel pronounced her dead at the scene, police said.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office is investigating the cause of death. Rollins was the only person in the vehicle.
Police said no snow or ice were on the surface of Thorn Run Road at the time of the crash.
