2011 Results: Supreme and Commonweath Courts
Wecht wins uncontested race for spot on November ballot, but Ernsberger's results too close to call in Commonwealth Court race.
Two Allegheny County Democrats are among the candidates voters around the state have chosen to vie in the November general election for seats on the bench of Commonwealth Court and another on Superior Court. Here are the results as of Wednesday morning, with 100 percent of state votes counted:
Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court
Republican candidates include:
- Anne E. Covey, an attorney and the first female member of the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board, of New Hope, Bucks County.
- Paul P. Panepinto, a Common Pleas Court judge and former attorney, of Philadelphia, Philadelphia County
Democrat candidates include:

- Barbara Behrend Ernsberger, an attorney and commissioner with the Pittsburgh Planning Department, of Shadyside
