Academy Students Present Donation to Sewickley Officials

The fourth annual breakfast raises nearly $800 to support public safety.

Students from Sewickley Academy's Senior School presented a $400 check to borough officials Monday in support of the firefighters.

Lauren Gohh and Maura Donnelly, 12th graders, also presented Mayor Brian Jeffe and Council President Robert Hague with a poster board of thank you signatures.

Sewickley Academy raised nearly $789 from the fourth annual pancake breakfast, which took place Nov. 5. About 115 guests attended this year's , a benefit that takes place annually to support local police and fire department.

Faculty and students cooked and served the breakfast and Cochran Hose stopped by with a truck and gave tours and demonstrations.
